Sara Samy is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She brings a calm and humanistic presence to each session. You receive a space without judgment. Your personal experience and perspective remain central to the therapy process.
Sara works with clients aged sixteen and older. She provides individual therapy for anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, postpartum challenges, grief and loss, life transitions, cultural and identity concerns, intergenerational and relationship stress, eating related concerns, and self esteem difficulties.
Her therapeutic style is person centered and culturally responsive. She blends Emotion Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems informed strategies, inner child focused work, mindfulness practices, somatic awareness techniques, and trauma informed care. Sessions focus on emotional safety, empathy, and building practical coping skills.
Sara values collaboration in therapy. You help shape your treatment goals and monitor progress over time. You learn tools for emotional regulation, clear communication, and healthy boundary setting. Trauma work follows a gentle and controlled pace so you stay comfortable during exploration of difficult memories.
