Hello! I’m Marina, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I strive to create a supportive, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where we can work together to navigate life’s challenges and foster meaningful change. To best support your needs, I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches. One primary method is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), which helps identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. I also incorporate Narrative Therapy, which focuses on the stories we tell about our lives. This approach can be especially helpful for processing trauma, allowing you to make sense of your experiences and regain a sense of control and personal agency.

Mindfulness-based therapies are an important part of my approach. These techniques encourage present-moment awareness and self-acceptance, helping to reduce stress and enhance emotional regulation. I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Guelph. These programs provided me with a strong foundation in mental health and evidence-based therapeutic practices. Throughout my training, I have had the privilege of working with diverse populations and a wide range of mental health concerns, which has reinforced my commitment to a holistic and individualized approach to therapy.
